Fair Housing Through Time: Examining Historical Context and Current Application

This course will provide licensees a refresher on federal, state and local fair housing laws within a historical context from 1866 to the present. Students will be able to summarize the Civil Rights Act of 1866, Federal Fair Housing Act of 1968, Fair Housing Amendments of 1988, Americans with Disabilities Act and Article 10 of the NAR Code of Ethics. Licensees will also have the opportunity to analyze and assess fair housing case studies and articulate their own mission as it relates to their business.

        • Even then, take added precautions for the next 5 days: masking, physical distancing and testing
        • If you develop a fever or you start to feel worse, stay home again until your symptoms improve overall, and you have not had a fever without taking fever relievers for at least 24 hours.

We’ll never know what to say, how to act or what objections the other person might have. It can feel like a life-or-death situation. But it doesn’t have to be! In this course, you’ll learn how to build your confidence and handle objections like a pro. You’ll know exactly what to say and how to say it in any situation- so you can feel more in control and more successful when selling anything, anytime.
