The course will offer a historical overview of and instruction regarding fair housing law in the United States. Attendees will acquire an understanding of the provisions of Federal and State of Arizona Fair Housing Law and of current topics relevant to Fair Housing. Through examples contained in a Self-Assessment, and questions/scenarios, attendees will connect the provisions in the Fair Housing Act to daily work experiences. This class covers updates from HUD such as Rentals & Use of Criminal Records, 2020 Guidance on Rentals, Disabilities & Animals. This class is geared toward Property Managers, Landlords and anyone in the Property Rental Business.
