In two of his final acts as 2021 president of the Scottsdale Area Association of REALTORS®, Louis McCall II signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Pinellas/Central Pasco REALTOR® organizations and issued a Fair Housing declaration for SAAR.

Drafted with help from the Scottsdale association’s Global Council and Fair Housing Committee, both documents represent how proactive leadership has been under his watch. “By working together,” said McCall, “we are a leading resource for property interests across the globe and advocates for an open market that embraces equal opportunity.”

At the recent REALTORS® Conference in San Diego, McCall and Glen Richardson, 2021 president of the Pinellas REALTOR Organization and Central Pasco REALTOR® Organization (PRO/CPRO), signed an MOU to establish a mutually beneficial relationship to “affirm the value of international collaboration.”

SAAR President Louis McCall II and PRO/CPRO President Glen Richardson sign a global MOU in San Diego.

Both presidents agreed to share business opportunities and exchange information of relevant global activities with their respective members. Earlier this year, McCall signed a similar MOU with Nykea McGriff, 2020-2021 president of the Chicago Association of REALTORS®.

McCall also issued a Fair Housing declaration encouraging SAAR members to provide equal professional services (as defined in Article 10 of the National Association of REALTORS® Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice), promote Fair Housing education and inform clients about their rights and responsibilities under Fair Housing laws.

McCall’s term as president for SAAR ended November 30, 2021. He was succeeded by 2022 President Sandy Lunsford on December 1.
