This course will provide attendees with an understanding of the VA mortgage program. It will cover borrower and property criteria, VA stipulations, seller’s role, Arizona community property law issues, as well as underwriting and guideline requirements:

  • Eligibility and minimum credit requirements
  • Compare the differences between other mortgage programs
  • Know what to look for when working with a buyer or seller in a VA transaction
  • VA property requirements
  • Explain the residual income calculation used in VA qualifying
  • Required documentation
  • Community property issues in a VA transaction
