Luxury Home Financing – Jumbo Mortgages

This course will provide you with an understanding of different types of jumbo mortgage program guidelines used in the luxury home market. It will cover property and borrower criteria, unique jumbo stipulations, appraisal issues, as well as underwriting and guideline requirements:
- Guideline differences between standard conventional mortgages versus jumbo mortgages
- Appraisal stipulations for jumbo mortgages
- Variations of loan amounts and required down payment
- Income and asset verification and sources, impacts of the Dodd-Frank Act
- Standard financial calculations for jumbo mortgages
- Compare the differences between various jumbo mortgage program guidelines
- Know what to look for when working with a buyer or seller in a jumbo transaction.
