Michelle Cottingham | North & Co.

Born and raised in Long Beach, California Michelle’s career launched in 2000 at her aunt’s real estate and
mortgage brokerage. Beginning as a loan processor and underwriter turned loan officer, she then became a
REALTOR® for ZipRealty during the early days in digital lead generation.

In the recession, she was on a nationally-recognized short sale team and later an award-winning salesperson
at HomeSmart where she simultaneously served as manager of Agent Development, where she created a training
and mentoring program. Michelle’s excitement for the technical facets of the trade and passion for
professionalism play out in her work as continuing education instructor.
