Axon Enterprise Inc. has cleared a key hurdle to its development plans in north Scottsdale.

Months after a frosty meeting with Scottsdale officials led Axon to temporarily pause the approval process to build out its new headquarters, the Taser maker returned to the Scottsdale Planning Commission on Nov. 13 armed with fresh plans for its roughly 70-acre site in north Scottsdale.

Commissioner Joe Young lauded Axon for the changes it has made to its plans.
