I am honored to be in such an esteemed group of candidates, many of whom I know and have worked with in the past. Running for SAAR’s Board of Directors is the next step in my progression towards serving my fellow REALTORS® and our community. As a broker from the Bay Area, I did extensive research on all the associations when I moved back to Arizona. I wanted to be a part of an association that was member and community focused. SAAR has consistently fit that requirement and exceeded my expectations. I started by taking classes and attending events but soon, I wanted to be more involved. I have since served on the Global Council and now currently serve as co-chair for the Global Council. I am also a proud graduate of the SAAR Leadership Academy. I have enjoyed becoming more involved in the Scottsdale Area Association of REALTORS®. I would love the opportunity to become a board member and further my commitment to the association. As REALTORS®, we are often the first person who future residents meet when they come to make the Valley their permanent or secondary residence. We are all ambassadors of the great city of Scottsdale. Through the years, I have felt I could make a difference in our organization by serving on the Sustainability Committee, Global Connect Council and by being a member of the SAAR Leadership Academy. I have been involved as a coach for REALTORS®, teaching them how to analyze the real estate market and take their business to new levels. It brings me back to the days when I taught high school French and English as a second language. My background as a corporate attorney, specializing in asset protection and estate tax in Chicago, has given me the ability to use my past in new ways. Real estate involves many of the skills I used as an attorney. Most notably negotiation, market analysis and contract law. I would love the opportunity to be on the SAAR board to further my involvement in the association and the community. We are a unique group of professionals with the opportunity to be ambassadors for our great city.

Giving back to our great association and state has always been something I hold in high regard. I am running for the SAAR board because I believe that the best days of the association are yet to come! As a representative board member, I will have a duty to make Arizona the best place to live and work. I will fight to ensure that our members have an opportunity to pursue their dreams. I have been a REALTOR® since 2010 and previously served as executive vice president of Dial Chemical before being elected to the Arizona State House and Senate. I am a veteran of the U.S. Army Reserve. My goals for SAAR are providing value to members, advocating and influencing public policy, engaging with members, and improving organizational development. I feel it is important to be in touch with the needs and concerns of the members and REALTORS® that I represent. Which is why I ask members to call me directly. I am passionate about real estate and our community! I grew up in south Scottsdale and have lived here all my life. I am a third-generation real estate agent and all about keeping our community a great place to live and looking for ways to strengthen our community connection. I have served on the board of Singleton Moms (now The Singletons), Pueblo Elementary School’s PTO, the Financial Management Association at ASU and have volunteered in many other capacities. Most recently, I served on the SAAR Sustainability Committee. We managed events that brought awareness to our community and showed agents the added value of sustainability. Being on a board means representing the community and its best interests. I value the opportunity to do this for SAAR and know it is a great way to serve our community.

I have the pleasure of working with one of my children on a mother/daughter team. Our passion is creating the American Dream of home ownership for anyone who crosses our path. We love our country and provide an American flag to every client. We love what we do. After spending weeks or months with our clients, they often become ‘family’ and we would not want it any other way! I am involved in the Girl’s Rule Foundation and have been elected as the 2021 National Liaison Central Region for the Women’s Council of REALTORS® after serving as WCR’s 2019 Region IV RVP. As a native to Arizona with more than 17 years of real estate experience, I have established strong working relationships with many different sectors of our community. My specialty and passion is selling sleek urban condominiums, penthouses and lofts in downtown Phoenix, Scottsdale and Tempe. I enjoy building relationships with my clients, investors and developers, along with bringing international clientele to the Valley of the Sun. I have been a member of SAAR since 2003 and was choreographer and a performer for STAAR Night 2006, benefiting the Hutch (Member Relief) Fund. I had the amazing opportunity to be a committee member for the SAAR Global Council in 2019 and co-chair in 2020. My international experience includes attending MIPIM, the leading international real estate convention in France, and working towards the CIPS designation.
