2025 REALTOR® Director Candidates

Jeff Brugman, PSA

A Valley native, Jeff has been involved in the industry since 1984. He is team lead for Helios Realty Team and former president of a construction-related wholesaler that grew to 38 locations in seven states.
Jeff has been involved in more than 70 commercial transactions over the past 25 years and an active licensee for more than 10 years. He has been instrumental in growing businesses, nonprofits and trade organizations. This experience allows Jeff to best serve as a board member and further members’ interests. He has worked with many of the current board members on the RAPAC Committee, Commercial Council and Leadership Academy. Other board experience includes Project Cure, IOM America, Impact Church and several in the construction industry.

Jeff Dial

Jeff is running for re-election because he believes that the best days of the Scottsdale REALTORS® association are yet to come. A veteran of the U.S. Army Reserve and a REALTOR® since 2010, he previously served as EVP of Dial Chemical before being elected to the state legislature. During his terms, he served in both the House and the Senate.
Jeff says his board goals are to provide value to members, advocate for and influence municipal public policy, engage with members and improve organizational development. He feels it is important to be in touch with the needs and concerns of the members he represents. Jeff hopes to continue serving the association by looking for new ways to make the Scottsdale area a better place to work and live.

Mauricio Lacerda

As a second-generation REALTOR® who grew up in Scottsdale, Mauricio is deeply committed to serving clients and the community. He has been active in both state and local associations, serving on the Arizona REALTORS® Business Technology & Communications and Scottsdale REALTORS® Government Affairs committees.
Through education and cooperation, Mauricio believes we can navigate current challenges facing REALTORS® while keeping the consumer at the heart of everything we do. He is a RAPAC Major Investor, Leadership Academy graduate and two-time Forty Under 40 winner. Mauricio participates in the REALTOR® Caucus, has experience as president of his HOA and is eager for the opportunity to serve as a board director.
