Velma Trayham, a local entrepreneur and small business advocate, has entered the multibillion-dollar modular home industry with her company HomeAccess America.
The standard modular homes range in price from $120,000 to $240,000. The sizes range between 1,400 square feet and 2,600 square feet, Trayham said. On the company’s website, “The Starter Haven” is as low as $79,000, measuring 1,028.1 square feet. The company has sold over 1,000 units so far.
The serial entrepreneur, who is the founder of ThinkZilla Consulting Group and Millionaire Mastermind Academy, as well as president of the Black Chamber of Arizona, founded HomeAccess America three years ago and has secured roughly $7 million including personal income and funds from three investors.
Trayham was motivated to form the business to address the housing crisis and help create more affordable solutions for those in need, such as students and the homeless.
