The Arizona Department of Real Estate requires that each licensee complete 24 hours of continuing education every two years to renew a real estate license. The requirement is 3 hours of education in each mandatory category; Agency Law, Contract Law, Commissioner’s Standards, Disclosure, Fair Housing and Real Estate Legal Issues, and an allowance of 6 hours in elective credit which can be added from any mandatory category or General Real Estate.
SAAR designation and certification courses that offer continuing education credit frequently include more than 3 hours in each mandatory category. Please be advised that when classes are uploaded to ADRE the screen is divided into two parts – “Requirements” and “Education”. Once credit “Requirements” are completed, additional education is listed below and all education classes are displayed.
