Nearly seven years after launching Venue8600, Elayne Beyer is retiring as director of sales & events and handing over the reins to hospitality veteran Donald Harvey on December 11.

Harvey started in the resort business more than 20 years ago in Washington state and moved to Arizona in 2002 as senior sales manager for the Renaissance Scottsdale Resort.
As national account manager, he successfully opened Talking Stick Resort and after four years became senior sales manager at The Scott Resort & Spa for another four years.
Before being furloughed during the COVID-19 pandemic, Harvey was corporate and government sales manager for the Desert Willow and Black Canyon Conference Centers.
Described by his peers as diligent, focused and a professional dedicated to exceeding his client’s needs and expectations, Donald Harvey is a welcome addition to Venue8600.
